Stephanie Resendes - January 14, 2010
Stephanie Resendes is an eleven year old grade 6 student from Christ the King School who has been actively involved in soccer since she was four. She overcame a serious medical problem at an early age having open heart surgery twice.
She has been a member of the Brantford Intercity Soccer League for three years playing house league and rep soccer. Recently her coach suggested that she try-out for the district team.
Stephanie also participated in the Brantford Classic Run finishing in first place for her school.
She is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains a B average. In the future she hopes to play on the Ontario soccer team and one day represent her country as a member of the Canadian soccer team.
She also hopes to continue her education at university and become a doctor.
