Stefan Dancetovic - June 4, 2009
Stefan Dancetovic is a fifteen-year-old grade 9 student from St. Johns College who has been actively involved in soccer for a number of years.
In 2006 Stefan’s U12 boys soccer team competed in the South Region Soccer League finishing in 1st place. They were finalists in the 2006 Kitchener International tournament, the West Niagara Invitational tournament and finalists in the BICS U12 North American division. In 2007 his BICS U13 boys team won the championships.
In March Stefan travelled to Holland with the Sigma Soccer Academy competing against Dutch professional youth academies and will be travelling to Brazil in August with the KD Soccer Academy to train and compete against Brazilian Youth Teams.
He currently plays for the Toronto LYNX Juniors (ranked #4 in North America), he competed in the Super Y League in the United States and was part of the Sigma Soccer Academy in Mississauga. He is also a member of the SJC cross country team and the SJC varsity boys soccer team who are currently undefeated.
In the future Stefan hopes to achieve good marks in high school, continue his education by attending University on a soccer scholarship and become a professional soccer player in Europe.
