Nathan Howard - November 5, 2009
Nathan Howard is a sixteen year old grade 11 student from Pauline Johnson Collegiate who participates in football, track and field, soccer, basketball and badminton.
He has been playing football for 2 years as a running back and won the Offensive MVP the first year. Nathan has been involved in track and field for 6 years mainly as a sprinter and long jumper and has won over 30 first place ribbons.
He has played soccer for 13 years for BICS and BYSL on both house league and rep teams. He has been a member of the PJ soccer team for two years and his position is striker.
Nathan has been playing basketball for 4 years with CYO and PJ teams and has been involved in badminton for 5 years.
Nathan has received several individual awards including the 2007/08 Male Track and Field Junior Champion in grade 9; he was the 2008/09 Male Track & Field Junior Champion, the 2008/09 Junior Badminton MVP, the 2008/09 Junior Football Offensive Player of the Year, and the 2008/09 Male Junior Athlete of the Year in grade 10.
He is a member of the PJ Athletic Council, the ministry of fun and coaches soccer skills for younger children.
Nathan is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains an 85% average. He wants to continue his education at university and become an anesthesiologist and would also like to continue playing sports.
