Logan Varga - October 29, 2009
Logan Varga is a sixteen year old grade 11 student who attends North Park Collegiate and participates in volleyball, basketball and baseball.
He has been involved with Briers basketball since he was five years old; Brant Youth soccer since he was seven and has been a member of Brant Youth Volleyball for the past two years.
Logan is a member of the NPC volleyball, basketball and baseball teams and is involved in other school events. During the summer of 2008 he travelled to San Francisco to participate in the International Children’s Games playing volleyball against teams world-wide, finishing in 3rd place and brought home a bronze medal .
He was the 2006/07 Athlete of the Year at Cedarland Public School; he received the 2008/09 Junior Boys Volleyball MVP award and was the 2008/09 Junior Athlete of the Year at North Park.
Logan volunteers at the Brantford basketball camp during the summer and helps with scorekeeping at NPC volleyball and basketball games.
He is a dedicated and hardworking student who has maintained good marks throughout high school and is planning to continue his education by attending university and remain actively involved in sports.
