Katherine Radojewski - May 21, 2009
Katherine Radojewski is a fourteen-year-old grade 9 student from Assumption College who has participated in volleyball, basketball, track and field, cross country and Irish dancing.
She has been involved in basketball since she was four, cross country since grade one, track and field since grade four, volleyball since grade 8, and Irish dancing since she was 4 years old.
Katherine is a member of the Woodgate Shamrock Academy of Irish Dance and participates on the Assumption volleyball, cross country and track and field teams.
She was 1st at the 2008 BICSSA Midget Girls Cross Country Championships and finished 10th at CWOSSA in 2009.
In 2008 Katherine placed 4th at the Irish Dancing Eastern Canadian Championships and she competed at the World Championships in 2004 and 2009. She has attended the North American Championships for Irish Dance numerous times and will be competing again this July in Nashville.
She will be involved in the Relay for Life with her school at the end of May, she volunteers at school tournaments, she helps at her school tuck shop, and participated in the Branford Classic Run for 4 years.
Katherine is a dedicated and hardworking student who has been on the honor several times and last semester achieved an 89% average.
Her goals for the future include maintaining high marks at high school, continue to compete and excel at BCSSA for track, keep qualifying for the Worlds in Irish Dancing and one day place at the World Championships.
After graduating high school Katherine plans to attend university and pursue a career in Kinesiology or Physiotherapy.
