Justine Peltz - July 31, 2008
Justine Peltz is a seventeen-year-old grade 12 graduate of Paris District High School who has been actively involved in cheerleading for 4 years; rugby for 1 year; badminton for 6 years; track and field for 4 years; and rep soccer for 2 years.
Justine has received several individual and team awards over the years including the 2007/08 Unsung Hero Award.
She has been involved with the Mayors Celebration of Arts from 2004 to 2007; she volunteered at the 2007 Heathers Hootenany Fundraiser and will help again this summer.
Justine is a hardworking student who achieved a 75-80% average and has been an active member of the PDHS Athletics and Students Council. She was co-president of the 2007/08 Athletics Council and president of the 2007/08 Student Council.
Justine will be attending the University of Guelph (part-time) this fall taking sciences and geography and hopes to continue participating in cheerleading and rugby throughout university. She will be heading to Ghana this summer to volunteer at different orphanages and help as a research assistant.
