James McGregor - April 3, 2008
James McGregor is a thirteen-year-old grade 7 student at Agnes Hodge Public School who participates in several sports including hockey, basketball, wrestling, motorcycle trials riding, skateboarding, golf, and snowboarding.
He has been actively involved in hockey with the Brantford Church Hockey League since he was 7 years old, playing on house league, select and MD teams.
James is actively involved at school playing on the Agnes Hodge Huskies basketball team and has been on the wrestling team for 2 consecutive years, winning a gold medal last year for his weight class.
He received the 2004 MVP Runner Up Award in the Atom division and the 2004 MVP for his house league team. James competed in an observed motorcycle trials competition in 2007 and received a 1st place trophy for the event.
James attended the Olympia Sports Camp in Huntsville for 2 years where he learned new wrestling techniques.
He is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains a B average with French as one of his best subjects.
In the future James hopes to further his education by attending University or College pursuing a career as a radiologist or graphic designer and stay active in as many sports as possible.
