Jacob LeBlanc - May 24, 2007
Jacob LeBlanc is a twelve-year-old grade 6 student who attends Holy Family School in Paris and is active in a variety of sports.
Jacob has been playing CYO basketball on a rep AAA team for 4 years; he won the CYO Major Atom AAA Coaches Award in 2007; he was the Knights of Columbus Free Throw winner in 2006, and is a member of the Holy Family school basketball team.
Jacob has been involved with the Paris Soccer Club for 3 years and was a member of his school’s soccer team in 2007. He played Bisons football in 2002; he has been a member of the Premier Marital Arts for 3 years and has already earned his red belt.
Jacob has participated in the Brantford Classic Run 5k race since 2002 and was involved in the 2002 Cambridge YMCA Jingle Bell Run 2.5K race where he won a silver medal in the 8 and under division. He was a member of his school’s track team in 2006 and competed at the County finals in the triple jump, 100m, 200m and 800m.
He is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains excellent grades in all subjects and has been a Safety Patroller for the past two years. He loves dogs and hopes to some day train and show miniature long-haired dachshunds.
After graduating from high school Jacob plans to attend university, study Engineering and play varsity basketball.
