Emma Perry - December 10, 2009
Emma Perry is a fifteen year old grade 10 student from Paris District High School who participates in soccer, basketball and volleyball.
She has been participating in soccer for 10 years playing house league for five years and rep soccer with BICS for five years. She has been playing indoor soccer at the Hershey Center in Mississauga for two years and with the Ontario Soccer Association Center in Vaughan for one year.
Emma has also been playing high school basketball for two years, volleyball for one season and hopes to play volleyball next year.
Over the years she has received several individual and team awards including the 2009 BICS Classic MVP award; the 2009 Dazzling Dozen Soccer Tournament Player of the Game award; the 2009 League Cup SRSL Elite Division Championships; the Brockport New York Soccer Tournament Championships; the SRSL Premier Division League Championships; the SRSL First Division League Championships; the 2008 Paris District High School Basketball tournament MVP award; the 2008 Holy Trinity Catholic High School Volleyball tournament MVP award, and the 2007 March Mayhem Indoor Soccer Tournament Player of the Game.
Emma volunteers at volleyball and basketball tournaments and is a member of her school’s athletic council.
She is a dedicated and hardworking student who achieved an 80% in grade 9 and currently has an 80% average in all her classes in grade 10. In the future she hopes to continue her education at university and play varsity soccer.
