Emily Caravaggio - August 16, 2007
Emily Caravaggio is an 18-year-old graduate of Paris District High School who excels in baseball and participated in several other sports during her high school career.
She has been actively involved in fastball for 11 years, track and field for 6 years, volleyball for 5 years, rep soccer for 4 years, gymnastics for 4 years, badminton for 1 year and ballroom dancing for 2 years.
Emily received several personal and team awards at high school including the 2004 league championships for soccer, the 2005 BCSSA mixed doubles badminton championships, the 2006 BCSSA fastball championships, the 2006/07 BCSSA volleyball championships and finished 3 rd at CWOSSA and she placed 2nd in hurdles in 2005/06.
She was a member of the student council and social committees throughout high school and was head of the social committee in grade 12. She has been a member of the girl guides for 10 years volunteering at nursing homes and for other non-profit organizations.
Emily was an honor roll student in grades 9 and 10 and graduated with an 84% average in grade 12. She is planning to move out west for a year and consider a career in marketing or advertising.
