Emilie Gooder - February 28, 2008
Emilie Gooder is a thirteen-year-old grade 8 student from Prince Charles Public School who participates in several sports including hockey, basketball, soccer, baseball and track and field.
Emilie has been actively involved in hockey for 2 years, basketball for 3 years, and baseball for 2 years.
In 2002 her baseball team was the BMSA Co-Ed Junior Mite playoff finalists, they were chosen the 2002 Brantford Softball Most Sportsmanlike team, and in 2003 were again chosen the BMSA Most Sportsmanlike team.
In 2005/06 she helped the CYO Girls Atom Division team finish 3rd in house league; in 2006 she won 1st place in the long jump and in 2007 she placed 3rd in the high jump and 3rd in the 100m race.
Emilie has been an active student council rep. for the past two years at her school. She hopes to make the Ice Cats rep hockey team; she plans to try out for the North Park Collegiate hockey and basketball teams this fall and in the future she hopes to become a teacher or athletic coach.
