Colleen Szentimrey - June 28, 2007
Colleen Szentimrey is a nineteen-year-old grade 12 student from Paris District High School who is actively involved in a variety of sports including rugby, soccer, volleyball, track and field and cheerleading.
Colleen has received numerous awards including the 2004/05 Most Dedicated Cheerleading award, the 2005/06 Most Improved Cambridge Youth Soccer award, and the 2007 Girls Rugby MVP.
She has been playing soccer for 6 years, track and field 3 years, cheerleading for 3 years, rugby for 1 year and volleyball for 1 year.
Colleen is active at her school participating as a student council rep in 2005/06; she was head of the 2005/06 social committee and assisted with student council events in 2006/07.
She coached an under 16 soccer team in 2003/04, she volunteered for the St. George Fire department and helped at the Willett hospital.
Colleen is a hardworking and dedicated student who maintains an 83% average and is planning to continue her education at the University of Guelph with a major in chemistry.
She hopes to continue her athletic career playing varsity rugby and try out for the harlequins next summer.
