Chad Fryett - March 6, 2008
Chad Fryett is a seventeen-year-old grade 12 student from Hagersville Secondary School who is actively involved in swimming and enjoys playing baseball during the summer.
He has been an active member of the Brantford Aquatic Club for the past 5 years training up to 8 times a week, and has been playing baseball in Hagersville since he was 5 years old.
Chad has received numerous medals and ribbons for swimming and in 2006 he won the Optimist’s Award.
He has also won numerous baseball tournaments and league championships including a MVP award in 2004.
Chad is actively involved at his school and last Christmas helped his class raise $1,000 for the local hospital and collected over 2,600 canned goods.
He enjoys volunteering at different sporting events in his community whenever he has time away from the pool.
Chad is a dedicated and hard working student who achieved an 85% to 90% average last semester.
His plans for the future include attending Ottawa or Guelph University and joining the varsity swim team where he hopes to improve his times and become a faster swimmer.
