Caroline Rebry - November 10, 2005
Caroline Rebry is an excellent basketball and soccer player and her athletic skills continue to improve year after year.
She had a very successful year playing basketball with the Ontario AAA Gold Medal Girls Basketball team and the Tri-County Bantam Developmental Elite Basketball Team. Caroline has been a participant at the Gus Macker basketball tournament for the past three years. This year her team won a silver medal, in 2004 they brought home the gold and in 2003 they won silver.
Caroline got her start playing basketball with the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), and has been playing on both their house and all star travel teams for five years.
In 2005, during her second season playing with the Brantford Inter City Soccer Club, Caroline was thrilled to win the Coach's Choice Award, in her Under 12 Girls Division. She decided to join the Brantford club after playing with the Paris District Soccer Club for six years; she was also a member of the Hamilton District Soccer Team this year.
In 2003, Caroline had a great experience participating in the Debra Brown's Dance Workshop and Show at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts. In her spare time, she volunteers by helping out the younger players in the Brantford Inter City Soccer Club.
Caroline is in grade seven at Holy Family public school in Paris, and is a straight-A student. She enjoys playing on her school's soccer and track and field teams, and is involved in the school's Christmas pageant every year.
Caroline has a great love for animals and has decided that she would like to become a veterinarian, in the future.
Congratulations Caroline, and good luck! |
