Brittany Fergus - October 3, 2002
The Tournament Capital of Ontario "Athlete of the Week" is Brittany Fergus a 15 year-old grade 10 student from St. Johns College who is currently the captain of the junior girl?s basketball team. Brittany played an intregal role last season in helping her team win both the City and CWOSSA Basketball Championships.
She was selected to the Regional MDP basketball team for the past 2 years, has been a member of the CYO all-star team for the past seven years, was a referee for CYO house league for 2 years, and this summer volunteered at the North Park basketball camp.
Brittany was part of the 2001 St. Johns College Midget girl?s volleyball team that won the City Championships and in 2002 played on the Inter-City under 16 Rep. soccer team that won the City Championships.
Brittany is a strong academic student and one day would like to attend University and become an Optometrist or Physiotherapist.
