Bridget Caravaggio - July 5, 2007
Bridget Caravaggio is an 18 year old graduate of Paris District High School who excels in volleyball and has been involved in several others sports for a number of years, including baseball, soccer, basketball, track and field, curling, martial arts and dance.
In 2005 Bridget won the CYO fair play award, the 2005 junior girls basketball MVP award, she won the 2006 senior girls volleyball team player award, helped her team win the 2006 BCSSA girls basketball championship, and helped win the 2006 BCSSA girls baseball championship.
Bridget was the 2005 BCSSA javelin champion, she placed 2nd at CWOSSA and qualified for OFSSA; she was the 2007 BCSSA champion and qualified for CWOSSA. She helped her senior girl’s volleyball team win BCSSA and they finished 3rd at CWOSSA.
She was an active member of her school’s athletic and social committee in grade 11; she was head of the social committee in grade 12 and was a member of the peer council in grades 9 and 10.
Bridget was a member of the girl guides for 10 years; she volunteered at senior homes, helped at church events and enjoyed reading to elementary school children.
She was a dedicated and hardworking student who was on the honor role in grades 9 and 10; she achieved a 77% average in grade 11 and a 78% average in grade 12.
Bridget will attend Mohawk College in the fall for the police foundation and pursue a career as a private investigator, a detective or a member of the K-9 unit. She plans to stay actively involved in baseball or volleyball at college.
