He won a gold medal in the Junior boys 800m and 1500m at the Brant County meet, he won silver at the indoor games at York University in the 1500m Atom boys division, he placed 3rd at the Willow Lake cross county invitational and 5th place at the Brant County meet in 2005. Brayden is a grade 6 student at Mount Pleasant school and says his favorite class is Physical Education. He is very concerned about the underprivileged people in the world, so to help out his community Brayden and a friend took a sled and trudged through the snow to collect food and donations for the food bank. Brayden admires Terry Fox and says that someday he wants to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research, just like Terry.
Brayden is already planning for his future and hopes to become a research scientist or kinesiologist. He also wants to earn a scholarship to run at the Michigan State University or play soccer for a European team.
Congratulations Brayden, and good luck! |
