Brandon Dailey - November 15, 2001
This week's TCO "Athlete of the Week" is Brandon Dailey a grade 4 student from Onondaga Brant public school who played in the Minor Mosquito AAA division for Brantford Minor Baseball. Brandon played for three baseball teams this past summer and won gold medals at the regional, provincial and national levels of the Honda Hit Run and Throw competitions. He plays both shortstop and pitcher and was involved with both house league and rookie baseball in Onondaga, and helped his team win the Brant-Wentworth Rookie Ball Championships in 2000 and 2001. Brandon is a busy nine-year old who plays indoor soccer during the winter for the Brantford Minor Indoor Soccer league where he was one of the leading scorers in his division last season. He is a member of the Brantford Church Hockey League, also attends winter baseball
school and enjoys intramural sports at this school. Brandon is an excellent student and has won several achievement awards.
