38th annual Wayne Gretzky International Minor Hockey Tournament
The Brantford Minor Hockey Association will host the 38th annual Wayne Gretzky International Minor Hockey Tournament from December 27 to 30, 2007. A total of 108 teams are entered in 16 divisions with players ages 7 to 14 competing in the tournament. Teams from Denmark, Norway and Finland along with 18 teams from the United States and many others from throughout Ontario, will participate in this years tournament.
Opening Ceremonies will be held at the Brantford Civic Centre on Dec. 28 at 1:00 pm. Admission is free.
Games will be played on the three ice surfaces (red, blue, yellow) at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, at the Lions Park arena, the Brantford Civic Centre, the South Dumfries Community Centre in St. George and the Cambridge Ice Park.
